the Rocky Bay Memorial Cruising Club.

Madame Rouge Charity Vineyard Walk
The ffth annual cross country walk and run
in the beautiful Onetangi Vineyard Valley in
support of the Waiheke High School Scholastic

Fagan and the People at The Osti
Former Mockers frontman, the multi-talented
Andrew Fagan plays at The Osti Bar in Ostend

Great Barrier Mussel Fest
Great fun day out for the family at Great
Barrier Island's Port Fitzroy. A celebration of
the island's delicious mussels, this popular
event starts at 11am and include food, wine,
craft and produce stalls and entertainment.

Hot rods and classic cars on show
Waiheke Rod and Custom Show and Shine
2013 at the Waiheke Sports Club on 27 January.
Hot Rods, classic cars, live music, market stalls,
food, drink, and fun for all. 10am to 6pm with an
auction at the end of day.
Waiheke Island Historical Village
Located at 165 Onetangi Straight, opposite
Take a look at Waiheke's past and discover the
people and events that shaped the island.
Open Wednesdays, weekends and public holi-
days from midday until 4pm. Entry by donation.
Whittaker's Musical Museum
With more than 100 working musical
instruments, the museum is open seven days
from 1pm to 4pm.
Lloyd and Joan Whittaker give a live perfor-
mance on Saturday afternoons and host tour
parties at other times by arrangement.
Whittaker’s is in the Artworks complex on
the corner of Korora and Ocean View Road in

In-house drink specials and a DJ behind the
decks at SandBar in Oneroa every Saturday
night from 9pm until late.

of Waiheke crafts, gifts, plants, books, clothing
and food at Anzac Reserve in Ostend. Great
coffee, locally made breads, cheeses, spreads,
produce and pastries.
Waiheke Sea Scouts car boot sale
Treasures, books, plants, crafts and good
company from 10am to 1pm every Sunday
throughout December and January at the Old
Blackpool School on Nikau Road in Blackpool.

The annual fun run and walking event takes
place this year on Sunday 13 January. Walk or
run over four courses, from 25km to 7km.
Please note, the run has changed from the usual
Saturday time. Registrations now open www.
Headland Sculpture on the Gulf
30 artists will showcase their work in the
island's biennial outdoor sculpture event
around the Matiatia headland.
Headland runs from 25 January to 17 February,
and will this year include the work of Waiheke
artists Mathew Muir, Glendale Rangihaeata,
Sharonagh Tengblad and Kazu Nakagawa.
There will also be a Pavilion at Matiatia show-
casing Waiheke food, wine, art and entertain-
ment for the duration of the event.
Man O' War Westpac Helicopter
A fundraiser for the vital work of the Westpac
Rescue Helicopter at Man O' War Tasting
Room at Man O'War Bay is on 20 January.
Hosted by celebrity chef Josh Emett and six
of Auckland’s top chefs, the event will feature
a ‘walking degustation menu’ paired with
